Step 1. Install Solution 7
Use the the guide below to verify the requirements needed to run Solution 7, follow the step-by-step instructions to download and install Solution 7 on your computer, and learn how to implement the Solution 7 add-in manager in Microsoft Excel.

Step 2. Install SuiteAnalytics Connect (ODBC) in NetSuite
Follow the steps in the guide below to 1) enable SuiteAnalytics Connect in your NetSuite account (note that you will need a NetSuite login to complete this step), and 2) download and install the NetSuite ODBC driver.

Step 3. Configuration
The administrator at most companies will provide their users with a customized configuration document. Please check with your administrator to see if this is available. Only use the information below if your Solution 7 administrator has not provided you with different documentation.
Solution 7 stores all the information needed to connect to NetSuite, including Account ID and NetSuite data center URLs, in a Solution 7 Configuration File. The Solution 7 Configuration File is an XML file with a .CON file extension. The configuration file can be created for each user and copied to each user’s computer or shared centrally between users by storing it on a network server location or by using a cloud-based file sharing service such as Box, Drop Box or Microsoft OneDrive. Where possible, it is recommended that configuration files are stored on a shared network and shared between users.
